Meet Mrs. Sanders

Hello! My name is Mrs. Sanders and I am so excited to be a 5th grade ELA teacher at David Youree Elementary School. I have been teaching for eight years and it truly is my dream job! I went to undergraduate school at Middle Tennessee State University and graduate school at Lipscomb University.

I was born and raised in Middle Tennessee. Both of my parents were in the education field and I grew up dreaming of being a teacher. I have one older brother and family is super important to me! I am married to my best friend, Doug, and we have four crazy kids together (Sebastian, Lizzy, Dallas, Maddox). We also have one chi-weenie and a cat.
