Book Character Dress Up and Parade Schedule

Students and teachers are encouraged to dress up as a book character on Wednesday, Oct. 31. You will need to have your book with you as you walk in the Parade around the track. There should not be any scary or inappropriate costumes or mask or face paint.

Here is the schedule for the parade on the track.

Ghost Grams Sale

Ghost Grams Sale will begin October 25, 26, and 29th - 31st. PTO is now accepting donations of small novelty items and candy. Parent volunteers are needed to work positions on those sales days. Please see attached flyer for all of the information.

To RESERVE your seat at your child's Thanksgiving Lunch, PRE-ORDER your THANKSGIVING LUNCH TICKETS now! In order to prepare enough food and seats for all guests, ALL tickets are pre-paid.

No Cell Phone Use in School Zones!

The state of TN has passed a law stating, "No Cell Phone Use in School Zones." Just want our staff and parents to be aware of this law while driving on our campus. Our SRO will be watching out for people who are not following this state law.

Community Service Project: Canned Food Drive

The house of Amable has teamed up with News Channel 2 and Second harvest food bank to sponsor a canned food drive to help fight hunger in Rutherford county. Dye has a long standing history of having generous hearts. We are asking that students, teachers, and staff bring canned foods and other non-perishable items to school. Each Item You Bring = 1 Point for your house!

What: Canned Food Drive
When: September 17th-28th
Why: To Help fight hunger in our community! Second Harvest Food Bank has indicated that the following are their most needed items: peanut butter, canned meats, canned Fruits, canned vegetables, rice & beans, macaroni & Cheese, pasta, and cereals.

Please Note: Do not send glass items or expired items.Thank you in advance for encouraging your children to show generosity and kindness by participating in this drive.
